Day 01 :

Arrival in Sri Lanka & Transfer to Kandy

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your friendly Topic Lankan Tours Sri Lanka representative and begin your journey towards the beautiful hill capital of Kandy. Along the way, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe elephants being cared for and learn about conservation efforts. Continue to Kandy and check into your hotel. In the evening, relax beside the scenic Kandy Lake or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 02 :

Kandy City Tour & Temple of the Tooth

After breakfast, spend the day discovering the cultural heritage of Kandy. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist sites, and explore the surrounding historic area. Continue with a visit to Kandy Lake, the local market, and other attractions around the city. You can also visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya before enjoying a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening.

Day 03 :

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Tea Country

After breakfast, travel from Kandy into the spectacular central highlands towards Nuwara Eliya. The journey takes you through winding mountain roads surrounded by lush tea plantations, misty valleys, and beautiful waterfalls. Stop at a tea plantation and factory to learn about the production of world-famous Ceylon tea and enjoy a freshly prepared cup. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, explore the charming colonial-style town and enjoy its cool mountain climate.

Day 04 :

Horton Plains National Park & Transfer to Ella

Start your day early and travel to Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful highland nature reserves. Enjoy a scenic trek through grasslands, forests, streams, and mist-covered landscapes towards the famous World’s End viewpoint, where you can experience spectacular views across the surrounding countryside when the weather is clear. After exploring the park, continue towards Ella through the scenic hill country. In the evening, relax and enjoy Ella’s peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Ella Sightseeing & Transfer to Yala

After breakfast, explore some of Ella’s most scenic attractions. Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, and enjoy a short hike to Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic views of the valley. After sightseeing, travel south towards Yala through changing landscapes, from the cool mountains to Sri Lanka’s warmer dry-zone countryside. Arrive at your accommodation near Yala and relax before your wildlife adventure.

Yala National Park Jeep Safari

Rise early for an exciting Yala National Park jeep safari, one of the highlights of your Sri Lankan adventure. Travel deep into the park in search of elephants, leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, deer, wild buffalo, monkeys, and a wide variety of birds. Yala’s diverse landscapes include forests, grasslands, lagoons, and rocky areas, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. After the safari, return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Yala to Galle via Turtle Hatchery

After breakfast, begin your journey along Sri Lanka’s beautiful southern coastline. Visit a traditional turtle hatchery, where you can learn about sea turtle conservation and the efforts made to protect these endangered marine animals. Continue towards Galle and explore the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring impressive colonial architecture, ancient walls, charming streets, and spectacular ocean views.
